Unsupported texture format

This error pops up when you’re trying to save a texture (sprite, 3d texture, …), which can be easily fixed by disabling Compression on the specified texture asset.
Save Game Pro uses Unity ImageExtensions EncodeTo function to encode texture to binary, so this function requires the texture to be uncompressed, so this error is being caused by having a compressed texture.
Check out Saving Texture2D example for more information.

Texture ‘XXX’ is not readable, the texture memory can not be accessed from scripts. You can make the texture readable in the Texture Import Settings.

The texture should be readable in order to read and write the texture data through memory, so you can do it by enabling “Read / Write enabled” option in the texture import settings.
